ALWAYS avoid stocks in which a lot of optimism is already baked-in, but here are some specific traps out there:

PPHM (one drug in a promising class, management has abused shareholders for decades in so many ways, truly tragic)

SPHS (science/drug with no future)

EDTXF (Spectral has potential but the risk/reward ratio is not favorable)

AMRN(The FDA crushed these guys)

MNKD (Great product for diabetics, made some powerful enemies who control the FDA – See AMRN)

VVUS, ARNA (Doctors don’t like obesity drugs)

TRXC (Promising science, rancid management – see PPHM)
