IMO, honesty is the best policy.
Integrity and ethics is everything in the biotech field. What happens down-the-road when CTIX really does have great mind-blowing news and the investing public decides, because CTIX has a history of temporarily inflating their achievements, to view it with a jaundiced eye?
The mgmt at CTIX is aware that they have to get the share price up and I believe they are currently stacking the deck in their favor and will subsequently do a partnership on terms favorable to CTIX.
To some extent, CTIX has control over the timing, so patience (defined as the ability to wait with a good attitude) might not be a bad idea. Drug development is a marathon, not a sprint.
