You can't forfeit your patents because you run into debt. A patent is intellectual property. No creditor or legal system can force a company or person to relinquish their patent.

A patent is an asset, and can be put up for collateral like any other asset. The creditors sold the assets because RMTD couldn't pay it's loans. sorry, but RMTD shareholders lost years ago. that's business.
