well, you are missing several points. Christian conservatives are typically a repressed lot and repression contributes to secretive behavior, particularly when it comes to sexual expression.
All things being equal, liberals tend to feel free to express their sexuality so tend to not feel a need to act out in secret... out of the closet people tend to have more stable relationships than a latent homosexual married to a woman for cover... and more likely statistically republican thing.
At the very least, a group not marching to a "family values" drum are not as hypocritical as those claiming to be family value people when secretly being bad actors sexually.
So your attempt at some sort of equivalency is a joke, as only one side is particularly self-righteous about such things.
