It would certainly be nice if the newsletter could include lots of dense information about progress in Vietnam outside of 'We leased an office', as important of a milestone as that may be in the big picture and down the road. I'm more than willing to admit that progress is Vietnam could be a lot further along (or further behind) than people think, due mostly in part to the communication issues when dealing with a country like that. We could go from squeezing blood from a stone to a flash flood of information faster than some realize. We could ALSO be in a silent period for longer than some care to admit.

With all of this in context, it's important to remember what our technology is. We have the worms, we have frozen eggs, we know that we can make silk with specs that vendors are interested in. These are facts, there's no debate there. If we get into a farm that was previously used for processing silk, the adjustment time from 0 - full production is going to be very short. Silk worms are going to spin silk. That's what they do. There's no learning curve, there's no training the worms. They're ready to go and homozygous for the traits we want (for now, save for any vendor-specified alterations).

The conditions in the region will be amenable to silk production so that any external factors that were impacting our ability to reliably and repeatably create quality fibers will be minimized. Note, this is NOT the case for the American production sites unless, again, we choose a site where those parameters are well understood and have been previously optimized. Regardless, in Lam Dong they know how to spin silk, and we have worms that are ready to work. Just have to put them in and feed them up.

So, Kim. Can we get this off the ground soon? There are some new folks here, but there are also some that bought into your forward-looking statements wayyyyy back when. They were duped. There's no arguing about that. Anyone that bought in the 7s - 10s with the 'promise' of commercial production in the subsequent year (rinse and repeat) were fleeced, maybe not in the LONG term, but certainly in the short. You've got something now, things are moving. Can you convert that into real success? Some of us think so, so let's see what you've got.

I was able to pick up a nice batch of.0321s today, set my bid too low yesterday. If no news comes this next week it will dip more but I didn't want to risk it. I'm good for now. Working on lowering my pps average es1 style. Hopefully a good week ahead of us.
