Narcotics have a higher bar to to hurdle due to the scrutiny. Safety for the FDA is more important that the effectiveness of the drug. Labeling is put in with the reasonable expectation that the average person taking the drug would be expected to follow it. However patients on natcotics have clouded judgement so that logic doesnt work in this situation. The bar of saftey in this relam is high. FDA doesnt want egg on their face.
This is BS! A great many drugs are affected by food--especially by big fatty meals--and grapefruit--all opioids are, so far as i know, affected by fatty meals.
Correct the FDA just does like Elite; I guess one could say "the FDA stopped us"
