I apologize for making this post so personal.
I have thoughts of my son sleeping on a pallet under his table at the Architecture building so as to complete his assignments on time... I have thoughts of him having to complete upper division Physics and Math and Engineering classes to get his Professional degree. I look around my house and see his exquisitely made models... don't know where to put all of them.
Most of all, I have thoughts of him in a far away place, no family except his comrades, too close to an enemy sworn for our destruction; doing his job every day, defending our Allies and our Country 2000 miles from our shores.
Watching these chicken-hawk Republicans talk their hyperbole and lies just makes me want to holler Goddammitt!
And then this fake, lie, about a "design and architecture" degree. This is Trump! This is what you'll get if you don't vote Democratic. A total lie, just like Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld!
And our young men and women will have to pay the price again. Sure, our boys will take out 100's of thousands of the enemy, maybe a million or so. Claim victory if we are still alive when the smoke clears. But we will definitely pay a price.
God help us if we allow Donald Trump to be elected POTUS.
