thats the beauty of the stock borrow pool for the miscreants.

sell a share that does not exist it is a fail.
but as long as the borrow pool is full it can be technically locted to borrow.

the fail sits in my account for 13 days as a marker

that share that failed is still a marker in my account guess what.

that marker gets reported as a share to the borrow pool eligable to be borrowed

even though it really does not exist because it is a journal entry it shows up as a share in the borrow pool.

a never ending supply of shares

until the cycle is interrupted.
