fwiw DELL ipo'd on 8/17/88 & opened @ 9.38/sh. Here is it's infant 30 days of trading and a brief synopsis on Michael Dell and how he started the company with just $1k back in his college days.

This sort of massive fortune accumulation repeated with the early Internet craze among a few young start ups like Yahoo, Netscape, AOL and the like.

AOL was well under $10 at one point. I remember that well because I made about $15k off of about $600 investment back then.

glty with your EXBX. They have a ton of competition: CTCH comes to mind.
And if you don't think CTCH is as good as EXBX, you need to do some DD.
SYMC, MFE, CA and many other firms, public and private compete in this space.

Barrier to entry is not difficult. Taking a lionshare of business is excruciatingly difficult. CDSS can't even get the gov't to care enough about HMS in gov't computing. read their latest pr's.
