knowski... Thanks for the information. Very helpful. It is almost certain the well HAD TO BE plugged with the drill rig. Therefore if it was plugged why was the BOP still there after the rig was torn apart? And why leave the BOP on a dry hole as it seems if dry it would most certainly have been removed even before the rig was dismantled as there are caps that are effective and just the fraction of the BOP cost.

What do yo mean with all this abacadabra?

Can you deduct something from the picture in regards to that BOP being present? Is there a BOP on a dry hole also?
