Hi Doug,

I bought a total of 3 plates, 2 different types.

The lighter , thinner "patrol " style plates weighs approx 2 lbs ( I can weigh it for exact weight if needed). These plates are used for normal day to day sheriff's deputy patrol duty.

The thicker, heavier ballistic plate, used for SWAT situations is closer to 6 lbs.

At a recent demo both plates were shot with multiple different caliber rounds. There was no penetration and little backface deformation on those plates.

I will acertain the rounds used, and how many , and post after talking with my son.
