But why would they delay disclosing everything? what's the point, if they were going to screw us big time they might as well do it quickly

If you'd paid attention to bid and ask today, it looked manipulative, like dropping the bid to get you to sell, or raising ask beyond the prevailing price , etc. This can't have been the response of the MMs to institutional selling. It looked more like they were targeting retailers
