The gov't is already steering away from ICE's...
Ever increasing fleet mileage requirements on the manufacturers, ever increasing fuel taxes on consumers, mandatory emissions testing, etc.!
How long until they invent ICE pollution taxes, charging for emissions testing, and gas taxes go through the roof to facilitate the switch to BEV's?
People laughed at low water toilets and shower heads... now just try to buy one of the old kind in the US!
And conventional light bulbs are history...
Freon-22 at $30/lb...
They'll come a knockin' for ICE's, I have no doubt!
