Thrombospondin-1 type I repeats (3TSR) - Knockdown of CD36 suppresses the effect of 3TSR on EOC cell proliferation and apoptosis, suggesting a similar role for 3TSR and CD36 that is seen in endothelial cells (13). 3TSR also suppresses the production of VEGF by EOC cells.
