Avoid Trevali. I learned the hard way that they are essentially controlled by Glencore and do not care at all about delivering returns to shareholders.
My largest zinc holding is Tinka, TK.V, which is exploring a large Zn/Sn polymetallic deposit in Peru. Geophysics indicate they might be onto a monster deposit. The share price is sitting until they get their drill permits, which should be within the next few months.
A little guy I am keeping my eyes on is Zincore, ZNC-H.V, coming back from the dead on the basis of the revival in zinc. They control a large Zn/Pb/Cu district in Peru. I have a few shares, very underwater left over from the last zinc bull.
I am also keeping my eye on Heron Resources, HER.to or HER.AX, who are developing an underground zinc mine under an old open pit mine in Australia, as well as reprocessing the tailings from that old mine.
And of course the one get all the pump right now is Arizona Zinc, AZ.TO. I am staying away from that one for now as I prefer to avoid the pumperamas if I can.
