I used to be an electrician too! Now i am in distribution. Down year here, industry is not making big purchases to upgrade infrastructure. They aren't paying out dividends either. It concerns me. Maybe it's just because it is an election year. Happened in 2012 too...so who knows lol

I appreciate your honesty. The hardest thing to do is break from a position based on individual experiences. You have to realize that the whole domestic economy can be doing well but leave behind areas or even states.

I never use my experiences as a guide and have to trust the reports since they are not coming from one source. They get confirmed by different public and private methods.

The 7 year run can't be dismissed. Money never chases known bad returns. We just broke out and there is no doubt that we are still in the same very long secular bull run.
