Here's a chart of starting i-AIM pre 2008/9 financial crisis. Whilst cash reserves were fine and alleviated concerns of running out of cash, the subsequent rebound in share price had i-AIM building up too much cash too quickly (sold all of shares relatively quickly)

I have to dash out now, tomorrow I will have a better look.
One of the things i have been doing, is using i-aim on the buy side and normal aim on the sell side. Best of both worlds.
