SC, The AD market is so vast and in need of anything with even modest efficacy, AVXL would quickly be acquired or get a broad partnership. The synergy with Aricept is especially appealing for pharmas and the stock could be a goldmine.

But... as we know, it's easy to get carried away drinking the cool aid, so strict position limits are in order, and diversification. As we know, pig longs don't last very long in the bio sector..

SC, I know you like out of favor bottom plays, so here's one that looks interesting, Celldex (CLDX). They had a Phase 3 clinical failure which dropped the stock from the 30s down to the current 4.50, but the company has $250 mil in cash and an interesting pipeline (links below). The chart also caught my attention, having formed a bullish ascending triangle over the past 3 months, in the aftermath of the big drop. Interesting looking bottom play -
