How do you know these things? Transenterix also said J&J was interested in them (to pump up the stock) and look how that ended up.

If the company has published they are in discussions with SONY, then I apologize. If not, we should be aware of pumping.

Interesting to hear of Japanese tech co's.

I threw out a few Japanese co's a while ago.

Sony was not on my list. I worked for Canon for over 20 years and they have a rocking Medical division. Digital radiography and digital ophthalmological equipment. I know that they are also into nano-tech, among the more obvious consumer products.
