The Rice 9 well is not one that xnrg had, but is one that Northeastern Consolidated Energy Partners Inc had control of. They did the well xnrg had done. Just shows how unprofessional they are
Environmentally wise it just depends on the well status that was abandoned. Size of the hole, depth of the hole, located close to houses or other public structures, amount of oil seeping from the well, etc. All wells are not the same.
