Mickey, whenever someone brings up the Bible I always have one question in the back of my mind.

Does one believe that the Bible is the word of God or does one believe the Bible was written by those claiming to be inspired by the word of God?

The answer to that questions allows me to determine what parameters are in place for that conversation.
