It was the settlers that circled the wagons. The Indians circled the circle.

The indians where the cause and the settlers cicling the wagons was the effect. I think it could go either way. Kim speaking would be a cause for the settlers to not circle the wagons. It works.

Now they just circle the casino waiting for their check.
