#40838 RE: The Grabber #40835

Hi Grabber, "May you live in interesting times" is allegedly a Chinese curse and I suspect it is indeed a curse. Oh, well.

I had a similar type thing happen today. I had a buy at $5.02 for 197 shares of DHT that executed today but the price at the end of the day was $5.13

So how do I enter this into the spreadsheet? Do I create two entries for the day, one at the buy price and one at the EOD price? Or do I just enter the number of shares in the "Action Taken - ### Shares," overwriting the formula for that cell and leaving the "Price Close" at the closing price? Overwriting only changes the formula for that cell so it does not seem to affect the spreadsheet overall.

Or does it matter at all which one I do?

Of course this is also an issue if one is only entering data at weekly or monthly intervals as the price might dip/surge sometime during the week/month but end on a different price than the buy/sell price,

Thanks,

Allen
