Apparently, Ms. Sommerfeld left Avax in May 2016

Ms. Sommerfeld's personal LinkedIn account confirms she is no longer with Avax and hasn't been since May. The website has not been updated; she is still listed there as CEO.

Wikipedia page updated May 28

Someone updated the AVAX Wikipedia page on May 28, linking the Ovax trial results. It also appears that the Wikipedia page has been culled of company history, leaving only efficient details about pipeline vaccines.

Tiny sliver of insight

They put new pictures on the website. In this picture (http://avax-techDOTcom/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/06-26DOTjpg), they're using a flow cytometer, which is an advanced piece of equipment commonly used in biotech. I'm just glad to see they're up and running with modern experiments. A few things they could be looking at:

1. How well new vaccines haptenize cell surface proteins.
2. How well their vaccines activate the immune system.
2a. How different parts of the immune system are interacting to affect tumor survival.
3. How intact cancer cells are after processing.
4. Gauging penetration of immune cells into tumors.
5. What percentage of tumor cells are dead or dying at certain time points in treatment

I don't know. It's just something I noticed and thought would be interesting to point out.
