I understand consumer products will take lots of time and development, and there are might be secrecy agreements in place with OEMs etc, but I'd really like to see just a basic basic basic film...with QMCs dots in it. You don't need to have a display maker either per se. QD Vision won an SID award in 2013 without mentioning any customers they had (http://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20130521005418/en/QD-Vision-Wins-Gold-Component-Year-Color). They were simply showing the industry they had a working product.

Or better yet. I'd like to see a TV like Samsung's retrofitted with a QMC film so we can compare to what Nanosys/Hansol/Samsung area already working with. That'd be an easy way to add legitimacy to the claim that their dots are superior than competition.

....are you saying those relationships are real, (w/such a startup as QMC)???

...no product upon which to base their decisions???

Would that relationship impact their company image as being idiots, geniuses, or at least being competent and knowing things the average person doesn't?


My impression thus far has been that Asians tend to think in terms of generations while the West tends to think of immediate profits.
