I have never had a problem getting a reply from Catalin when I have e-mailed him (many times). I am not questioning or trying to contest your communication experiences in your attempts, just saying my communication experiences with Catalin have always received a timely response, and he has always answered all of my questions that are within his lawful right to disclose.
I would expect no e-mail as that would be insider information. The project is a good one. They may have a better one lined up. If you don't like Canarc or don't trust them it may be time to move on. No arm twisters here.
