"jt6455" I do not for a minute doubt that as you suggest, all fiat currencies die, since history has proven that to be the case. The problem lies in WHEN they die, in other words, can a given fiat currency{in this case the $}outlast our mortal lives, in which case, it then becomes irrelevant as a matter of practical concern. Speculating as to time & method, unfortunately, brings forth little discernment from which to gleen any usable facts. Suggestions as to what, when & how seem to be rampant, as well as, what methodology should be applied to this concern. I'm however invested in the miners & social media technology{FDBL}, because I agree that fiat currencies tend to inflate over time & lose purchasing power, that is a fact which can be verified & therefore becomes useful. Having stated all of the above, I'm reminded that a new accounting phenomena known as "negative interest rates" could in fact jeopardize everything as we know it.
