The truth is the truth. No one can escape the truth. I am stating the obvious and the distillation of all the thousand messages and PRs and feelings many share here and elsewhere.

The government needs to face the music and know they have done wrong with respect to the GSEs.

They need to correct these mistakes by doing the minimum of these:
1) Release the GSEs from conservatorship
2) Stop the theft of GSE profits
3) Allow for self capitalization of the GSEs
4) Allow the GSE's boards to run these companies and self determination
of the GSE role and policies in the mortgage markets.

I will settle for graceful/forgiving correction since we are talking about our country. Otherwise, in other circumstances they would have thrown these folks who passed these illegal laws in jail for such unconstitutional misdeeds.

I hope the courts will rule justly and return to the shareholders what has been taken illegally.

Except that it was wrong.

The statement he's referring to happened Aug. 9, 2012, not 2008.

So no 2008 fraud has been proven.
