Low stress, exercise, good food and luck! Maggie's had a very stable little life with lots of love. Her feline roommate of 15 years, Alan, is similarly ageless.
He showed up as a fully grown stray when I was 13 (I'm 28 now) and has barely changed in appearance. My wife and I think he's only pretending to be a cat.
