Yes, I do think it is likely that Steve got overthrown, although as I said, I'm open to other explanations for him giving up control of his company.

"Tossed" is passed tense. WRT Art and David, I'm not suggesting it has happened (passed tense), just acknowledging that it wouldn't be a surprise to me if it did happen down the road.

Touche!

Slightly negative toward Art and Dave. ;)

The coup is definitely one possibility. My only real thought that tells me that it was a voluntary or forced coup is the fact that Steve is no longer on the board. In a fully functional company, the board makes all the management decisions.

Now, Steve might have voluntarily done it because he knows that his somewhat shady loaning and trading over the past year has brought some scrutiny onto the company and him that isn't needed as they get into full production and sales with reputable companies. He may also have realized that he wasn't the best figure head to represent QMC in the display sector and stepped down voluntarily. BigE's coup scenario is also a very plausible case as well.

Regardless, Sri is a good move in all of our opinions from what I can tell from everyone's comments today and yesterday. The inter-workings of why this occurred are really irrelevant and will be even more so if QMC reaches commercial success in the near future.
