If they didn't have one planned, then they should have just said..."We do not have any plans to r/s the stock", rather than saying "one hasn't been announced", which everyone already knew!....re-read it yourself and see how UN-transparent saying one hasn't been announced really is.

It's much better than companies who do it first and then notify the shareholders. Cantech is starting this right.
