Actually I think it's great news for MNII. reason being is because it brings us closer to sanctions being lifted. I bet Obama will try and make this happen before he leaves office. Recreational travel to Cuba still isn't allowed. I believe you can travel for business and for family but I don't think you can if you only intend to vacation there.
I think Cuba will realize the income potential now and will do what it needs to do to have sanctions removed.
With interest I think Cuba would have to pay 140+ billion (200 million to MNII over $40 a share) to settle all the legit claims. I think that's a relatively small amount when you consider the many billions Cuba would make in trade and tourism.

Yeah the lawyer was in a article about this. He was pissed. he said the US should of gotten all debt owed first then started relations. But it doesnt mean they cant settle. Cuba settled with several other countries out there already by giving big land assets I believe. Beach front property that will be worth a lot in the future.
