Not that the FDA shouldn't need a broad swath of opinion but some of these contributors are making things more difficult to treat in the real world, outside of the ivory tower.








Those of us who treat acute and chronic pain all day every day understand something about opioids. They work. There are many ingredients in my jambalaya, but the opioids are the meat. Take away the chicken, sausage, and shrimp and no one is going to be satisfied with the result. The rest of the ingredients are great for flavor and texture, but I do not believe there will ever be a suitable replacement for andouille sausage and wild-caught Gulf shrimp.

Exactly, it was comments like that which will render the ADCOM's for ADF's irrelevant. It was them who bought into Purdue's BS in the 90's and now they want to assume current doctors can't differentiate abuse deterrent from addiction deterrent?

Come on FDA, get these clowns out of town and use your own judgement.
