I am with you Mr. the NR. Another way to have/keep money on the balance sheet is to control spending. I do not know about you but I was disappointed to hear the company wanted to start the B-UP trial. Then a few weeks ago they PR'd reactivating another B-XXX protocol with FDA. I don't see these developments as positive given our cash position, especially given that they will have to leverage everything to get B-ABSSSI through its 2 phase 3's.
Positive trial results do not move this company forward. Sadly, I believe if the B-OM trial results were announced tomorrow and the results were fantastic we would not see a significant gain in stock price, dangerous thoughts for a very long-time investor here.
The company needs to work on the other side of the equation here and show investors they have the ability to bring these drugs to market (by any means). To do so, I believe they will have to go outside of their comfort zone and cede some control to others (partners, truly independent BOD members etc). Start thinking outside their secure box!
