#39495 RE: Jumpinjackas #39494

Jumpin, According to the 10-Q press release from May 16, they expect to release the results from the CX-1739 RD trial during Q-3 (July-Sept), so there's still some time to go. The press release also said they already raised $655 K and $55 K, which buys them some breathing room, although not a huge amount.

The press release said that final data collection would be in May for both the RD trial and also for the Dronabinol SA trial. Since the Dronabinol trial has been funded and run by the NIH, it's harder for RespireRx to know the exact time when those results will be made public, but the CX-1739 RD results should be out by the end of Sept at the latest.

Just speculating, but it's possible that a comprehensive deal has been put together with funding entities which could include a reverse split and recapitalization of the company, and the deal is contingent on the funding entities seeing the data from these clinical trials. RespireRx's new management has shown considerable savvy on the finance end, so it wouldn't be surprising if such a deal is in the works, and hopefully the clinical trial data has been favorable enough to get it done. Should be an interesting period ahead.
