no market maker to entice a buy right now....the only way it will move is if you buy it at the ask...nobody wants the stock...they lost all their investors...hundreds of stocks that are traded each day most with hardly any or no revenues and has great volume...no liquidity means low or no volume
Exactly. Volume increases when the bid and ask are very close to each other. If you aren't willing to buy at or near the ask, then don't bid. Otherwise, those low bids discourage anyone else from dipping their toe into the water.
