the assumption would be that a deal with more data would be a better, deal and that is likely right I suppose it all depends on what Leo could get for licensing Let's say 200mg BID has a success rate of 60%, he is bound to get a much better deal, right?

I think your argument is correct and they should first look for responses at other doses in another phase 2 trial

I wish they would just push forward with other trials for K, for pancreatic CA to take an example, and money from a deal for P might get them there much sooner. But how much sooner? By a year? By 2 years? For such a tiny company they have a lot on the plate

100% agree!

...the biggest risk for Prurisol, Brilacidin, and Kevetrin is rushing into Phase 3 trials without having a good handle on dosing. Get it right in Phase 2a/b. It's worth it and I'm fine with waiting.[/quote]

biodoc, The waiting game has some concerns. It would be nice to accomplish A,B,C or D and create more value... However, with the stock held hostage on the OTCBB, raising enough capital is going to be a challenge. Trading at 1.55 "with minimal dilution" is a red flag. Trying to build a biotech company without a partnership is going to be tough... The current PPS level will not draw much investment, so can the PPS stay high enough to keep the company afloat? That's the 1.55 question...

Trying to build a biotech company without a partnership is going to be tough... The current PPS level will not draw much investment, so will the PPS be attractive enough to raise the proper capital? That's the 1.55 question... It's my opinion that Leo needs to take any partnership ASAP.... By not up-listing has hampered their long-term plans... I believe the PPS would be 3 plus if they up-listed last-year...

Thank you Doc, well written as usual and I believe, for what it's worth, that you are correct in regards to company waiting for results from the B OM trial before moving forward with that side of the Brilacidin platform.

Good news on that civil suit being dismissed with prejudice...hopefully that will start a trend and ours will be next. Sanctions and jail time is needed as well as more news coverage of these frivolous articles and suits. IMO

Post of the week biodoc! How far is CTIX from seeing share price movement? 3-5 years?

Slam dunk post

My only concern is CTIX could use the funds from Prurisol ASAP.

My preference would be to continue to the Phase 3 trial for mild to moderate Psoriasis at 200mm. Upon completion of that trial do another trial at higher dose for severe Psoriasis.

With the 505b2 designation the phase 3 trial should be accelerated which would allow CTIX to relatively quickly proceed to a partnership or new drug approval with better terms for partnership or sale.

As you noted another wild card could be Brilacidin for oral mucositis.

Good luck, Farrell

biodoc, can you explain me how the company will be able to wait 12 more months before doing a partnership ? We know that the company will need at least 20 millions for the next 12 months. Given the current market condition (low stock price and low trading volume), how will the company be able to raise such a large amount of capital without crashing the stock ? It seems to me that a partnership is urgently needed. It is the price to pay to stabilize the company and improve the probability of survival and then success.

The Prurisol good results make a partnership possible. It is too much risky to wait for the results of another trial before seeking a partner.
