What about it? Today's VWAP was $1.0772 and the closing price was $1.06 and the closing bid/ask was $1.06 / $1.07. It was $1.05 5 minutes before close.
My point is that there is little evidence of any systematic "late in the day takedown" and the evidence that is there is that it's more common for a late day high tick.
Funny how people don't complain about the high ticks but blame mysterious shorts for every low tick. ;-) ;-) :-) ;-)
