CDL, I think EXS has great potential. TPW seems to be on its way to becoming a mine. Great infrastructure in place, a million ounces already drilled off, and Tahoe's 144 Gap discovery just meters from the property line with TPW. The JV with Teck speaks well for the project. We are still early days in exploration at the adjacent Ogden property, so I still view that effort as a much longer shot, but it does give EXS some more blue sky potential. Kidd Creek is hard to figure. Rumors persist that Glencore has found a large second deposit close by the existing mine. A secondary rumor is that the deposit runs close to or onto EXS claims. I think Chris Dupont waited until the premier's visit to see if Glencore would make an announcement about a mine extension. When that didn't happen, apparently EXS decided to take matters into its own hands and commence a drill campaign. Outside of TPW, KC and Ogden EXS has other properties in its portfolio, but those will have to wait until we have more news and are further along at the three current EXS properties "in play."
I believe TPW will one day be owned by a major, perhaps Teck itself, Tahoe, Goldcorp, or even Oban. Not much promotion currently by EXS and this stock seems to be flying a bit under the radar.
Interesting that Teck waited until the May 1 deadline to allegedly supply EXS with a report on their Phase I drill findings. Now EXS is seemingly delaying putting out a news release on TPW. Much is apparently going on in Timmins West, but almost all of that outside the public eye. Why so much sudden mystery? GLTA
