XONEC5- In short, no! your link is for a vaccine against HIV. Years out if possible. A $4 condom is the best defense now. Pro 140 is for people already with HIV and the goal keeping the viral loads down. Pro 140's data shows this with less toxicity and side effects that the current regimen of pills. Another hype/cure link debunked which when you read also speaks of the need to keep the viral loads down. Again Pro 140 is already doing this.
Probably the best pitch for CYDY at the upcoming ASM.

Can someone that understands tell me if this is a threat to PRO140? I have been waiting for entry but now am a little concerned. thanks in advance for reply.

From the article: "They've tweaked the vaccine, which prevented infection by just about a third, and hope it will work better in this trial."

So here we find ourselves in a strange situation. In order to make money on this stock, we could find ourselves hoping against a vaccination that would actually prevent this disease.

I think that would be a mistake. I hope this vaccination works better than it did the first time. Let's say it prevents 2/3rds of infections this time around. There are still new infections and there are still plenty of infected people out there now. It will take a long time for the vaccination to reach everyone and it probably will never reach everybody.

There will still be a need for PRO140, although the need may decrease over time - as we should all hope for even if it means less appreciation for this stock.

Anyway, this is a vaccination to prevent the disease, not a treatment for the disease, so not really competition in my eyes. Hopefully they can work together to eradicate the disease.
