Valiant has some old (a few years) stuff on Farrago, so I don't think it's a problem with making money off of selling. I would hope they are not locked into an restrictive agreement with Farrago.
Image is all creator owned content, so I think deals can be made with the creators, rather than an overall deal with Image.
I was going to send in an email to Bleeding Cool about the app, also. If you have done it, they may already be trying it out. I'll wait a week before submitting.
I don't think many people are going to purchase stuff they just read for free. They are more likely to purchase the same titled stuff they can't read for free. (Edit) Unless they want to display the cover art, people do do that.
I doubt publishers are waiting for the Android version, even though it's a bigger potential market. Especially since they have some Image (#3 publisher) stuff on POWFolio.
