Scuuuze me but IMO Lance did not demolish the rest. He went to 1 minute and 5 seconds advantage. In the end he only had 40 seconds left on Ulrich. Of course the 20 seconds bonus could prove to be vital in the time trial in Nantes.
Lance is not sure of a fifth win yet guys. All in all a great etappe. Lance falling and then gliding out of the footstrap. Enough to break anybody. It did not, he came back with a vengance.
I will be watching when they go head to head in the time trial. Looks like another Lemond/Fignon "contre la montre".
