midas-You have some valid points, but the key point IMHO is to look for stocks like WWEN that provide a radical departure in technology that solves difficult problems. I look for earth changing technology's, because the risk is great, but the return is humungous. I am also heavily invested in a Nano/medical company that I believe will soon demonstrate a unique ability to eliminate virus's with no side effects. If either hits, my family will have no worries.

If This Technology Is Worth Anything At All

... I wouldn't be surprised to see funding flow like water, from all parts. The plants could be built quite quickly.

The hunger for energy in these parts is unbelievable, and cannot be met given current forms of energy that are acceptable. Ontario, New York, Penn, all are looking to gain a foothold on their energy problems, which are growing fast.

The field of renewable and green energy via biomass has not yet proven itself as something capable of calling itself a resource. This one sounds like it has a chance to go there.
