8:16 ET - In the minutes ahead of Target's(TGT)8am F1Q report, volume picked up and at notably lower prices. There were a handful of trades this morning right around Tuesday's closing price of $73.61. But at 7:55, according to FactSet data, a trade occurred at $70.32 and was followed by several dozen largely from $70-72 and none reaching 1K shares. They've fallen further since as the report included a dour 2Q forecast. Shares are currently down 8.2% premarket at $ 67.60, dragging down larger rival Wal-Mart(WMT) , which reports tomorrow.
