The N. Carolina court date is a hearing for his bad check charges dating from 2013. That information is available on-line, and perhaps I will post it if I can find the link again. It is in Buncombe County, N. Carolina.
If Joel is convicted of a felony, it will not help his case with the SEC. And, considering he admitted to a felony in Florida already, he may end up with jailtime for this new charge.
It appears that 2013 was an interesting time in the life of Joel....buying scrap gold from folks, and paying them with worthless checks.
