The number of people living with HIV in the United States is over a million. Approximately 65% of them have the CCR5 tropism (which is the receptor that PRO 140 targets). There's plenty of people for the trial, PRO 140 just does not have the exposure IMO. The delay isn't good news, but it certainly doesn't negate the science. Should be interesting to see what happens on Monday with the release of the abstract. Additionally, CytoDyn is presenting at the ASM conference which is as prestigious as it comes.
