"NEWS OUT", you said? Yeah, Earnings news, & now the stock is getting slammed -20% the next day.

I saw earnings coming up and waited. Glad I did!
I usually wait until after earnings as a rule of thumb, particularly with stocks like this.
That said, once this latest negativity gets priced in, it could prove to be a good entry in near future (for a short term swing trade).
