No. That is NOT what you do. One should never announce their buys and sells. If you have "buds", then you should have their e-mails, OR you can PM them, OR you go to a general board. You don't announce a running stock on another stock board. It is just wrong.
It was a crap thing to do ESPECIALLY for one who so vehemently criticized others for their trading techniques.
