"It's like saying EPGL will be the only company in the world. Could it happen? May be. Likelihood this will happen? Extremely low." This is unrealistic and i think everyone here understands that epgl's value is a two part system. The patents and those patents being used in another companies products that have the infrastructure to manufacture them. The value is being built as we speak, they have an agreement with J&J because they the patents will be foundational in the eventual huge market. Speculation will always make a market larger then is. Example TSLA everything they do is based on speculation and their eventual role in the future of clean energy movement in all aspects of power in auto, power supply ect.....they trade at a higher multiple then companies who are actually profitable
I never implied this, as well no post I've read ever did. However I'll assume you know what a patent is and what enabling technology is, and that they are in early negotiations with J&J after fine tuning some valuable enabling tech with Cooper, currently patent pending.
This is very very interesting, and is not a stretch as EPGL has been working on tech that could easily be incorporated into this for a few years, I believe EPGL's former DARPA scientist Markus has previously been working on MEMS for decades.
Remember Top Spin! This is Top Spin stuff, this is opportunity for EPGL, perhaps all they have to do is mention it at their next meeting with J&J and it'll at least be looked into, or perhaps it already is being considered. However I find it particularly interesting that Verb comes along in such close proximity to negotiations with EPGL... that and J&J's interest in silicon Hydroxel lenses this June, anyway... We are looking at a pooling of companies J&J, Google, Novartis in that article to create a new one called Verb.
Look at the DD section at the top of the EPGL forum.
and consider this from the Verb (J&J, Google, Novartis) article:
and this one regarding EPGL:
I don't know, connect the dots...
These are a few that stick out regarding Verb article and EPGL tech:
13)Advanced device for treatment of prostate tumors 14)Advanced endoscopic device 19)Device for Advanced Biopsy
These are a few more that would likely be considered in areas not specifically mentioned by article but likely a benefit to a robotic system:
4)Advanced Nerve Ablation Device 5)Advanced Epidural Device 7)Advanced Ablation Device for Nerve Treatment of Facial Glabballar Frownig 9)Advanced Trigger Point Needle Device 10)Advanced Micron Resolution Motor for Smart Medical Devices 12)Advanced Device for Steam Cell Treatment Delivery 15)Advanced Device for Delievery of Micron Sized Drug Payloads 18)Advanced Device For Delivery of Micro Mechanical Devices Into Body 20)Real-Time Sensor Technologies for Connectivity to a Global Network **NEW
I'm just saying I don't think it's a stretch that negotiations with J&J could lead EPGL into more promising negotiations.
