"It's like saying EPGL will be the only company in the world. Could it happen? May be. Likelihood this will happen? Extremely low."
This is unrealistic and i think everyone here understands that epgl's value is a two part system. The patents and those patents being used in another companies products that have the infrastructure to manufacture them. The value is being built as we speak, they have an agreement with J&J because they the patents will be foundational in the eventual huge market. Speculation will always make a market larger then
is. Example TSLA everything they do is based on speculation and their eventual role in the future of clean energy movement in all aspects of power in auto, power supply ect.....they trade at a higher multiple then companies who are actually profitable

Facts Facts and more Facts.

It's like saying EPGL will be the only company in the world. Could it happen?

I never implied this, as well no post I've read ever did. However I'll assume you know what a patent is and what enabling technology is, and that they are in early negotiations with J&J after fine tuning some valuable enabling tech with Cooper, currently patent pending.

My comment was in regards to the medical robotics from this article posted: http://www.businessinsider.com/r-jj-alphabet-aim-for-smarter-smaller-cheaper-surgical-robot-2015-12

This is very very interesting, and is not a stretch as EPGL has been working on tech that could easily be incorporated into this for a few years, I believe EPGL's former DARPA scientist Markus has previously been working on MEMS for decades.

Quote from:http://www.mddionline.com/article/will-epgls-topspin-serve-next-generation-medical-devices

MEMS technology has already impacted a variety of fields from robotics, to personal fitness, and even digital movie projection. Markus and the team at EPGL figure it is medtech's turn. “The reason why we're very confident is because this isn't dreamland stuff, this is technology that exists right now,” Hayes says. “Everything David is working on is technology that he knows how to implement.”

Remember Top Spin! This is Top Spin stuff, this is opportunity for EPGL, perhaps all they have to do is mention it at their next meeting with J&J and it'll at least be looked into, or perhaps it already is being considered. However I find it particularly interesting that Verb comes along in such close proximity to negotiations with EPGL... that and J&J's interest in silicon Hydroxel lenses this June, anyway... We are looking at a pooling of companies J&J, Google, Novartis in that article to create a new one called Verb.

Look at the DD section at the top of the EPGL forum.

The Company has significant know-how and Intellectual Property in the arena of BioMEMS and has invented new device technologies which include, but are not limited to the following:

1. Advanced Power Source for Contact Lenses 11. Advanced TopSpin Platform Technology for Development of Smart Medical Devices
2. Advanced Cell Regeneration Technology to Treat Eye Disease 12. Advanced Device for Steam Cell Treatment Delivery
3. Advanced Cell Regeneration Technology to Treat Hearing Loss 13. Advanced Device for Treatment of Prostate Tumors
4. Advanced Nerve Ablation Device 14. Advanced Endoscopic Device
5. Advanced Epidural Device 15. Advanced Device for Delievery of Micron Sized Drug Payloads
6. New & Promsing Treatment of Restinitis Pigmentosa 16. New & Promising Device for Treatment of Macular Degeneration
7. Advanced Ablation Device for Nerve Treatment of Facial Glabballar Frownig 17. New Advanced Contact Lens Device
8. New Advanced PowerSource for TopSpin Medical Devices 18. Advanced Device For Delivery of Micro Mechanical Devices Into Body
9. Advanced Trigger Point Needle Device 19. Device for Advanced Biopsy
10. Advanced Micron Resolution Motor for Smart Medical Devices 20. Real-Time Sensor Technologies for Connectivity to a Global Network **NEW
21.Real-Time Data Applications for Athletic Teams, Workforces and Military Forces*NEW

and consider this from the Verb (J&J, Google, Novartis) article:

And while robots today are used largely to remove cancerous prostate glands and in gynecological surgery, Verb's system would be designed for wider use, including thoracic surgery, colorectal surgery and bariatric weight loss procedures, J&J said....

"Our goal is to have a lower-cost product, with the smallest footprint, with greater capability, that helps to raise the standard of care," Pruden said. "That would be a market disruption."

and this one regarding EPGL:

So what is TopSpin exactly? Or, more accurately, what does it hope to become? Imagine all of the devices doctors now use in the hospital and clinical setting for a wide variety of procedures. Some of these devices and machines are large and require designated rooms in the clinic or hospital for use. Now imagine many of those devices sharing the same core platform with advanced MEMS technology, making them much smaller, less invasive and more effective and you have the beginnings of what TopSpin promises. While Markus and his team are sworn to secrecy for full details, he does promise “Topspin will be small and noninvasive. It will be packed with all necessary smart systems. It can achieve 1 micron in movement. And it is an intelligent microsystem with advanced technology that no Fortune 500 company owns.”

I don't know, connect the dots...

These are a few that stick out regarding Verb article and EPGL tech:

13)Advanced device for treatment of prostate tumors
14)Advanced endoscopic device
19)Device for Advanced Biopsy

These are a few more that would likely be considered in areas not specifically mentioned by article but likely a benefit to a robotic system:

4)Advanced Nerve Ablation Device
5)Advanced Epidural Device
7)Advanced Ablation Device for Nerve Treatment of Facial Glabballar Frownig
9)Advanced Trigger Point Needle Device
10)Advanced Micron Resolution Motor for Smart Medical Devices
12)Advanced Device for Steam Cell Treatment Delivery
15)Advanced Device for Delievery of Micron Sized Drug Payloads
18)Advanced Device For Delivery of Micro Mechanical Devices Into Body
20)Real-Time Sensor Technologies for Connectivity to a Global Network **NEW

I'm just saying I don't think it's a stretch that negotiations with J&J could lead EPGL into more promising negotiations.
