The Munchkin Man would not feel comfortable calling Mr. Frey from his home telephone number.

This would enable him, and possibly others, to have access to the Munchkin Man's phone number, and possibly learn the Munchkin Man's home address. The Munchkin Man does not want to jeopardize his privacy.
